The True Vienna Ball to be unveiled in Beijing – Kempinski Vienna Ball Beijing 2015
This year, Kempinski Hotel Beijing brings a jewel of Austrian history and lifestyle to China – a truly glamorous and dazzling gala in the magnificent setting of one of Beijing’s most remarkable hotels.
We proudly introduce to you the Kempinski Vienna Ball Beijing which will be held on 21st March 2015 under the patronage of the Austrian Ambassador Mrs. Dr. Irene Giner-Reichl, the Austrian Embassy Beijing Culture Department as well as the City of Vienna and Austrian Airlines. As balls are already world famous outside of Vienna, this Austrian society event will be unveiled as a true new experience in the heart of China’s capital.
A sensational elegant evening with extraordinary surprisingly highlights
At this glamorous and dazzling gala, guests will enjoy live music by the renowned Original Wiener Strauss Capelle while dancing to the tunes of Strauss and Mozart. On the culinary side, Kempinski offers an exclusive set dinner with the most exquisite gourmet food from the land of music and waltz. It’ll be a perfect combination to dance the night away and spend a delightful evening with outstanding live entertainment.
An essential part of every Austrian ball is the official opening act, the quadrille. And as it is the main aim at this ball, the Kempinski Hotel Beijing brings true Austrian traditions to Beijing. The celebrated dance instructor and former state opera solo dancer Heinz Heidenreich will lead a young debutantes committee to perform this very special dance. For those who want to try by themselves, Heinz Heidenreich will teach every step at the amusing midnight quadrille.
Austrians have two main obsessions – classic music and local food. Kempinski Hotel Beijing shares this cultural characteristic with all ball guests and complements its culinary entertainment with an exceptional musical highlight and one of the greatest operetta talents in Vienna: the soprano Marcela Cerno. She will conduct a very special performance at midnight.
But that’s not all: Another highlight of the evening includes one of China’s most influential designers and uprising fashion stars, Tanya Wang, who will be the official outfitter of the ball. All the debutantes’ ball gowns are created by her.
Kempinski Vienna Ball Beijing 2015 will hopefully start a new tradition for the ball society of Beijing and act as an important bridge builder for arts and cultural interests between these two outstanding cities.
