FIRST COMPLETED RESIDENCE UNVEILED AT 432 PARK AVENUE
New York City’s tallest residential tower will open to residents this fall
The completed model residence at 432 Park Avenue was unveiled today by the building’s co-developers, CIM Group and Macklowe Properties. The half-floor residence is located on the 38th floor of the 96-story condominium tower located on Park Avenue between 57th and 56th Streets and exhibits interiors and furnishings selected by New York architect and interior designer Deborah Berke. This first glimpse inside 432 Park Avenue is another major milestone for the building, where residents will begin moving in this fall.
The 4,082-square-foot residence has three bedrooms, four full bathrooms, including double master baths, a powder room and a library. Highlighted by the 10-foot-by-10-foot windows that are a signature of architect Rafael Viñoly’s iconic tower, the residence features many details that are representative of the apartments throughout 432 Park Avenue. These details include a 12’6” finished ceiling height, private elevator landing, gracious entrance gallery, windowed eat-in kitchen with marble breakfast bar, oak flooring, and master bathrooms featuring statuary book-matched marble floors and walls, a freestanding soaking tub and a 1,200-pound solid cubic Bianco Sivec marble countertop.
432 Park Avenue was designed from the inside out, with a focus on creating uncompromised column-free layouts. Deborah Berke has created gracious spaces that blend modern design with the grandeur of Park Avenue pre-war residences, while emphasizing the framing of the views in every room. 432 Park Avenue boasts views across the region, from the famed New York City skyline and Central Park to the Atlantic Ocean and neighboring states.
“Our goal was to design a residence that reflects the atmosphere of modern luxury that characterizes the nearly completed building,” explained Deborah Berke, the interior architect of all the residences at 432 Park Avenue in addition to the model. “The palette of subtle tones and rich textures references the building’s pure, refined geometry. And of course the apartments at 432 Park Avenue are all about the views, so we selected extraordinary contemporary and modern art that stands up to the dramatic 10-foot-by-10-foot windows.”
The residence sets a benchmark for New York living by creating an atmosphere of timeless luxury, quality and sophistication. Handpicked furniture adorns the space with a mixture of classic Elizabeth Easkins silk rugs, a gold leaf Yves Klein coffee table, an elegant Fortuny chandelier and other custom-designed furnishings. Working in conjunction with the Ryan Lee Gallery – works by Willem de Kooning, Robert Mangold, Donald Sultan, Ellsworth Kelly and others are prominently displayed. The residence reflects a relationship between art and design, moulding an environment that is inspiring and beautiful through the exhibited works of art and the materials used.
432 Park Avenue offers services and amenities on par with a five-star luxury hotel – all in a setting that is private to residents. The 30,000 square feet of amenities are highlighted by a private restaurant and outdoor terrace overlooking 57th Street and the Four Seasons Hotel. Additional amenities for residents include a 75-foot indoor swimming pool, which affords swimmers abundant natural light and city views; a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa featuring a yoga studio, sauna and steam room and treatment suites; conference venue; billiards room; screening room and performance venue. The building’s handpicked staff will provide in-suite catering, concierge, 24-hour doorman, and valet parking services.
Current availability at 432 Park Avenue includes the model residence, select half-floor apartments and full-floor penthouses ranging in price from $16.95 million to $82.5 million. 432 Park Avenue offers residents an unprecedented quality of sky-high living paired with thoughtful design and exclusive amenities.
